Updated first post with link to rapid for windows. Just extract to your spring folder, run rapid.bat that will pin and install it. To update, just run rapid.bat again.

Getting evolution into debian main seems impossible as it's licensed CC-by-nc-nd which is not ok under the dfsg. I don't remember if debian has a non-free section like Ubuntu, but that would the best chance. Ubuntu ppa (ie. spring's own) is also possible, albeit not very official nor technically in accordance with their terms.
Apparently not everyone caught the boat... When Evo's final release is out, the content will all be cc-by-sa.

note that currently cc-by-sa is only dfsg compatible in version 3.0

Yeah, please provide a download link to the mod and maps.

I wanted to download them, I could not!
(rapid fails, ZK would drop files everywhere on my system)

I don't think rapid works with maps.

Rapid MUST be next to spring.exe and unitsync.dll, otherwise you will get the error that z posted above.

And yes, I'll post links to the maps on the download page.

It is. Yeah that Spring folder is weirdly named, but it does contain spring.exe, unitsync.dll, and all that.
