not without the express permission of the author. His code and derivatives there of would be gpl v2 whatever...

as in if I modify it I cannot then re license his work. It stays gpl, now according to the gpl if I have a script that uses it then my script must be gpl compatible. PD is the most open license possible, it basically says I don't care what you do with my code.

Anyway soldier, please tell me if it is ok, I understand that the license allows me to but I prefer to have the author's permission out of respect for you work.

Yeah sure use it. If you have problems with the license, I dont have a problem if you relicense it for your use.

I love this widget. But it needs to enter the 21st century. It does not work properly if the camera is not facing north. I use the camera widget ccc so I'm sometimes facing different directions.

It's not so bad because EasyFacing works the majority of the time as its main use is for factories, which when built at the start of the game I'm still facing the default north. But it would still be nice to have a fix.
