Then you haven't seen the GoK race (TA Excess, also by Voh) or Talon, both have been around for ages.Indeed the best 3do models I've ever seen

i still think 3do have a lot of potential as can bee seen here, when not using zoomed detailed game play, but spring isnt really geared for that.

I'd like to see these models taken and converted to s3o, with good glow / reflection textures applied. That would be one sexy modelset.

Yup. Voh has stated that the first beta of Excess II will most likely not include them, however.

That's because the beta will consist of tier 1 units and buildings only, if I understood him correctly.
