Last time I checked it was still a lot easier to get a decent skill level 1v1 of XTA than it was CA, SA, S44, KP, Gundam, EE...

Wait, what?

Seriously, XTA is imo the most balanced and well developed mod around.

Thats because in BA, Antiair is usually built in long lines, so it doesnt matter hwo effective it is because theres 200 of them!!! How else are we supposed to defend our 20 super fusions, and are 70 moho mines while we tech to tier 3 giganto units?

Imo Xta is a great mod,
and i can only agree with the post above that the Xta community is (dont start discussing, at least it appeared to me like that) the friendliest one. 8)
As a newbie u are always helped, trolls are very rare and unlike in ba / ca u arent said to be a m******f******, a s**o*aB**** or a N*****
every 3 minutes.
And its definetly not dead (i didnt play it for some weeks cause im in britain atm and my notebook isnt capable of running spring ), but i doubt it died that fast

light defences DO have almost no use, in comparison to BA

likewise, alot less units are in play

The only _light_ dfenz in XTA is the MT, and it gets used plenty.

LLT is not light dfenz, its ~300m of point dfenz/commander area denial, and nothing else; imo the inability to easily make an area safe against 3-5 flash raiding parties makes for a much more fun game, and the cheapness/effectiveness of llts in ba, along with special damages vs coms, has always been one of my main complaints about the balance.

Anyone who says that AA, pre the veh buff that made bots lolredundant, was not a porc mod is talking shit

Okay, I just wanted to say that most of you guys are completely wrong, except for a couple of the XTA players and of course Noruas, but he didnt say anything useful.

What happened to XTA was that commanders were given HUGE COX that engorge themselves more and more as the game advances and the commander gets more experience. In his final stages of testicular grandeur, the Arm Commander has an orbital facial generator that pwns other coms from 200 parsecs away, and he can phyre his dgun cox at another commander, kill the commander, and survive due to epic dgun range. This frightened and intimidated all the other players in spring (BA noobzors and CA lolzors), causing them to declare XTA to be a dead mod. Yet it is written in the book of Tribulex (Noruas, when are you going to finish my book?) "Those who shalt fear the Cox shall come upon Grate and Evyl Daemons of Epyc Nooberie.... And then Noruas declared the Commandere tew bee of greater heroick statchure, and presented Him with many Improovemints to His great Package. Then came from Northurn Laynds, the Graet Heemen Coms of Winged Lucifer. The powerfully jumped from the highe Mowtains, and dgunned all who faltered befour them. Thus, the Tribulex Sex Ninja was born."

Yeah, well I hope that is a clear answer to the topic "What happaned to XTA." Oh yeah, by the way, its not a dead mod. I kicked it, and it kicked back, and I believe that is a legitimate vital sign, no?

com got upgrades

com got autoheal

t1 got nanotower for early spamming BT

com BT was un-needed, compush became only competetive strat

every game played the same, compush, missles

lots of com dgunning other com and living bullshit
