The name Yan has been irreversibly linked with a feeling of general annoyance and aggravation, and has essentially become a noun as much as a name.

Let me tell you the story of Yan.

The word yan originated in the theme song to an anime series known as Dragon Half. A popular mod developer named Tired/Hope (who is closely linked to Gota through shady dealings, most famously the Supreme Annihilation mod) would often sing the words to this song in the lobby. The connection is loose but it's there. Now, Gota was an ace player at one point, enjoying fame and fortune in the PRO clan (Pets Reunited Online) until for reasons unknown he was abruptly tossed out, never to return. This may have been the start of his downward spiral, and also coincides with the strange disappearance of Tired/Hope. It is a cold case but once in a while the interest starts up again.

I call him yan, that is his name, then he wanted to be gota then basic. He cannot make up his "mind" until he does he will forever be yan.

see why its easier to just stick to one name? Preferably the one he likes the least.
