only need Lua to draw the extra pieces (using my system) the orientation and position of the pieces is set by binding them to an empty point (or any other piece of the model, its really not that important) which can be controlled by a normal bos/cob script with no lua interaction. for simulating the show/hide bos function a limited amount of Lua/cob interaction is required, but thats purely optional.

im sure Lua can be used for unit scripting, but afaik no-one knows how to do it, which makes the point somewhat moot.

This Lego system will open the doors in making customizable units during the game, especially the COM unit. :-)
