I hate people that force you to leave absolutely no room for mis-interpretation...

You shot one handed a gun you have never fired before that is notorious for extreme kick... You could probably comfortably shoot the gun one handed, but you damn near risked breaking your wrist firing it without knowing what to expect.Forboding Angel wrote:Note: Hold on with both hands and don't relax. Are submachine guns ever available to civilians in the us? O_OREVENGE wrote:I'd like an MP7 myself, but it'll military only for who knows how long after it comes out.
Only as cut-down semi-automatic versions.Peet wrote:Are submachine guns ever available to civilians in the us? O_OREVENGE wrote:I'd like an MP7 myself, but it'll military only for who knows how long after it comes out.
Very true. Knowing what to expect is definitely important. I've shot a glock 45 one handed before with little trouble so I figured that if I held it much the same way allowing for shock that I'd be fine, but alas, I was in no way prepared for that much recoil. Yeah, I prolly could shoot it now with one hand and be fine, but tbh, I'm simply scared shitless of them. Plus, Imagine how silly I felt with the original try. Thankfully my first thought was to put the safety on after I fired it, the thought of dropping it and it popping off a round terrifies me. Not so much for my own safety, but others.SwiftSpear wrote:You shot one handed a gun you have never fired before that is notorious for extreme kick... In terms of felling trees... that's easier said than done. Of course it depends on the tree... but they took 50 cal MGs to trees in mythbusters and couldn't get one to fall within a reasonable amount of ammunition used.
I know but its the kind of joke you want to avoid being the victim of :)Hoi wrote:Lol it's a joke
AHAHAHAHAHAHA that thing's like WW2 surplus. Want some potato masher grenades to go with it?Muzic wrote:If I were to be given an assault rifle it would probably be the G3
So? The G3 is fucking awesome none the less. What, am I supposed to be like constantly buying a gun every like 10 years or so becuase the last one might be 'out dated'. Fuck, americans use the fucking M16, that thing is 50 years old with out an actually true update. And atleast the G3 isnt a peace of shit. A gun that shoots reliably is a gun-that shoots reliably. I dont see the point of buying a gun like that might be newer for no reason at all. People still use the gun today becuase it fucking works like its supposed to.KDR_11k wrote:AHAHAHAHAHAHA that thing's like WW2 surplus. No, its low cost and simple maintenance are its primary advantages.Muzic wrote:Fuck, hell, the AK47 is OLDER then the fucking G3. People buy the AK47 becuase its a GOOD gun.
