I would enlarge a bit the base of the gun's support so it becomes slightly conical, so it looks more tought, afterall that thing should withstand a huge force so making it a lil bulky will make it a bit more realistic IMHO

The Tremor was NOT a Cavedog unit. It was made by someone else (Unituniverse says 'Conrad Units' http://www.unituniverse.com/?p=u&v=1184)

Your remodel looks good, Mr.D.

My personal opinion is that this particular one wasn't worth your effort. It was just some really lazy unit maker from back in the day sticking the buzzsaw onto a shitty chassis. I'd have much rather seen you move on to some of the kbots, or the adv veh lab.

The Tremor is a fantastically weird unit, like the buzzsaw itself.

I'm not sure I like the offset barrels. But then, I LIKE the Tremor, which apparently makes me a deviant.

PS: the Can is silly. CORE isn't meant to have a "human" aesthetic. It's meant to have odd things like that.

Actually the core WAS meant to have a human aesthetic. Core units are just human units with a personality programmed into it based on a pattern acquired from some of the universe's most adept warriors.

yup

Arm = mortal humans and cloned humans.

Core = human mind mapped into a immortal machine body, then cloned, or shall I say replicated.

My tremor however is pretty bizarre, but for a unit replacement I like to keep the look that is known and recognizable if at all possible.

I'll try doing an alternative tweak to it though with a more conventional Gatling cannon setup, afterall I aim to please..

But I feel once I put something conventional on there, ppl are just gonna say.. wtf now its a vulcan on wheels, give it to ARM rawr..

Your remodel is good it looks like a new and improved Tremor(which is what we all want) I think you should just maybe pull the tracks closer to the body slightly and just have the barrels straight like the original and you'll be good as gold.

Meant what I said, said what I meant, and I know the backstory.

Edit: :)

Hoi is like an arse with a degree in philosophy. Sure he is putting a lot of effort in, and coming a long way (oh, how patronising) abd for that he is hugely valuable, but he still has the capacity to spurt phenomenal quantities on crap well beyond his station.

Sumo warriors have plasma guns?

+1 The tremor just doesn't fit the style and while this remodel is nice, it still just doesn't fit, imho...

The back pair of tracks are fine, but the front ones seem too far apart. Perhaps you could go with a 'tricycle' track design, like the Garpike uses.

Other than that, I think this Tremor looks pretty cool.

I like the spread out wheel base, it gives a stable look. Having three wheels would make it feel unstable.

Intimidation on wheels.

That's what I think of when I *hear* Tremor raining hellfire down on some poor nub's frontline.

Visually, this feeling is evoked by the miniature Buzzsaw on its back, which IMO made it one of the coolest units in Core's arsenal.

I think you've done a great job keeping the rest of the unit's design in the same bold and intimidating spirit as the turret, but you've changed the turret a little too much for what its worth, and the angled barrels are feeling more revolting than refreshing for me.

Well I got something sexy going on with this alternate model I'm making.

Hopefully it doesn't end up too ARM looking, but it will be quite different in both looks and operation than the Tremor model I first posted.
