Spring RTS Engine

Can people with dialup even play spring online? My ADSL lags to hell most of the time

I can atlest. I played a 3v3 on a metal map, so i think the ohter guys have GOOD speed.

A tile based map editor? like annilathor 2 or something? Could work, but isent it hard to program?

Rightfield, Gimme a link! I wanna check it out. Starcraft, whatever form it's in, is always good. (unless you count that sucky sprite comic that uses only 2 sprites in the whole damn comic.)

Sersouly, stop picking on him. His spelling wont magicly improve cuz you said so. Even if this a forum, and you have time to spell it right, you have the time to read 0 2 times so that you understand... Hmmm 0=zero? Eruka!

Anyone here ever used Earth2150's map editor? That would be more suited to detailed large maps like these.

Min3mat, your grammar and layout needs improoving, other people seem to generalise and say your spelling is bad, which at times it can be.

Now min3mat, look at the back of your computer, follow th wires untill you find a modem or soemthign plugged into the phoneline. look at the labeels, does it have DSL on it? Does it lead to a cable box such as an NTL or Telewest Set top box??

If it plugs directly into your computer and directly into the phoneline with no filter thingy then it's dialup. If you have a DSL modem or cable etc it's broadband. As you have described in the past it doesnt look like you have dialup even if you insist, the homeworld 2 demo does not download in 20 minutes on a 56k connection.

This one, sorry, I've reread 10 times more, and even if I can suggest a sentence, it become to be nonsense. (relation between d/l suggest, minmal setting and lag?) so I prefere to assume that I didn't undestand.

If you want to make a really nice and make a usefull post. Can you explain me what min3mat's post mean?

ERROR: EGYPTIAN HEIROGLYPHICS SUPPORT HAS YET TO BE IMPLEMENTED.
I think it might be something todo with less detail = less lag.. or somethign like that.

ahk, downlaod the latest forceware drivers, I did that and now my fx 5200 will do shadows at max settings, and I can ramp unit texture above 1x upto 3x without it making all the unit models white.
