8Mbits/sec no download cap
pretty much the low end of connections here
My mate who lives closer to Gothenburg has 100/100 no cap
Never seen a plan with caps here o_o

download limits are gay!
My connection started out as 2meg unlimited (though only reached 1 meg as i live in a field)
Now its 8meg unlimited, and reaches 2.5meg, as i still live in a field
Same ISP, they just upgraded their plans to allow the fastest speed their line will support for no extra cost..
My ISP is Demon

(I do seed, I just don't leave the program on 24/7 unless I have to, and it's not my fault my upload rate is an eighth my download rate)

whatever helps you sleep at night.
I in force a 0.9 share ratio on torrents I download. Its only open from 11:00pm to 8:am; scheduled. They stop seeding when they reach that, unless I get to them first.

Actually keeping my torrent seeding to a minimum does help me sleep at night.
tbh I don't see the reason to seed something that already has a hundred seeds and a thousand peers, and 95% of the stuff I download is fairly popular TV shows.

I only seed when I'm forced to. The reality is there's people out there with a fuckload more upload ability and space then I have, and I'm quite comfortable letting them feel good about their seed ratios.
Realistically, for someone to have a ratio higher then 100% someone else needs to have a ratio lower.

I make sure it stays below 0.1, because piracy is bad and shit.

with my poor cable 8mb/2mb line its hard to keep > 1 ratio since most quality torrents max my down speed. Ratio averages 0.2 for me.
I had ratio >2 at college with 100mb/100mb connection.
And limits are stupid, avoid it at all cost. My connection had 100gb monthly limit with speeds dropping to 64kbit, but it was removed year ago. I could get fiber optics 100mb for the same price as my current 8/2 cable, but it has 30gb montly limit, so no thx.

I was suggesting that I gave you a bit of a rev. I did not set you to bait you, but you bit anyway. You now have my bait. check you cheek.

Well, if were talking about piracy, this would be the best place to be. fines for downloading illegally are acceptably low. if you upload then you become an illegal distributor, and all of a sudden things start getting seriously seriously expensive.
That's why I keep any one file under 90%. Adds to the complexity to the legal issue, especially when you consider the fact that you only give each person a fragment anyway. Realistically, my global share ratio is like 40%, because I clean out completed stuff when it finishes.
But I just download linux distro's over and over again :\
