i play CA mainly

i play EE a bit

ive tried every other mod pretty much and will play SW IW and stuff wen it comes out.

I try everything at least more than once before coming to conclusions and also when major changes take place i will try the game again.

Lordmatt has played BA and tried nuthign else and baaws at anything non BA

I'm usually against internet flamewars, but on this one i have to agree. Such immaturity he presented recently in lobby is just incredible.

Otherside seems to forget that many of the lead devs of CA are friends of mine, and of course I wish them and their mod well, even if I choose not to play it because I prefer a game that is true to its OTA roots, rather than trying to run from them.

Otherside seems to forget that I was the one who modified the installer to include many mods other than XTA, and helped the CA devs get their content in the installer for the next version of spring.

The anti-CA caricature that Otherside presents me as is the anti-BA character that Otherside is in reality. But keep it up Otherside, your behavior cannot make people want to play CA, and probably helps BA keep its players more than it brings new players to CA.

Total Annihilation is THE greatest RTS of all time, imo. It's not about being pure OTA, like BA/AA/XTA are not OTA, but rather the concepts OTA has.

I enjoy C&C, WC, SC, KP, CA etc. other rts's I just don't think they're quite as good as TA. Don't cry all over internets about people being close minded if your models/concepts are not as good as TA's in my opinion.

Of course there is willful ignorance, like some can't be arsed to even give new maps/mods a try. Let's call this BADSDism, to avoid confusing them with OTA fans.

I disagree. I prefer both BA and CA to TA. But that's pure personal taste, there's no right answer.
