I have two Blood Bowl teams... first time I've heard of anybody else playing it.

Alternatively... just don't use IP that doesn't belong to you.

Hey, I know we do it too, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.
Seriously, it's not so bad using original IP, realistically, 99% of what you're competing with contains penguins.

Are ANY of our mods original IP? (kidding)
I supposed technically modern/classic warfare mods, Fiber and Nanoblobs and stuff are original, right?

It depends on what content they use. If you even use a line of TA coding you're d00med. No icons, cursors, sounds, lines of code, anything.

I think Space Hulk was actually using images from the old game and games workshop's other products so I think think that was the source of the C&D.

And they were using their game design, their copyrighted names, characters, and concepts. IP is a broad river, especially for a company like Games Workshop, which pretty much exists to create more IP these days. I read their prospectus once, a couple of years ago, and it was rather interesting how little of their revenue is from their core figure and game products...

used to play with some rl friends, we realised how insanely OP wood elves are (only faster race are skaven, and wood elves *never* drop a pass) and went back to necromunda
