Surly the best solution will be to have to different ways of queing the attacks? At the moment you hold down shift and and tell them to attack several targets and they all attack the first one, then the next, then the next...
Maybe you should have the option of holding down shift and somthing else (like ctrl or alt) together and then insted of queing the attacks you tell the groupe to assult all the targets at the same time, just picking whatever there nearest target is.
Obviously it would be usefull if you could still add in the normal que orders on the end, so that you make the bombers retreat or go elsewhere afterwards...
just my 2 pence

Ok, ok. But what I'm wondering about is how you l33t guys are able to use aircraft effectively? What method do you guys use?

Mostly becuase there are 30 brawlers whit evry 8 bombers. Sometimes plp dosent use bombers at all, mostly becuse of this issue and the fact that brawlers can kill more targets more qwikly... ofen i have seen 6 of my bombers wasting their load on a target thats alredy dead. Bombers are only good if you can go in fast and drop their load and die. Since brawles die faster then bombers... (they do right?

yeah but 4-5 bombers covered by finks as decoys can easy take out key targets such as fusions/timmys

There is no god.
Really, what is this shit that is being suggested? Why do half of you people even care to play a game if you want to slowly delegate 90% of the playing to the AI. Jesus lord almighty, you want to get an area pull and let the computer decide the targets, their order, your preferred coffee type and just leave it at that? How 'bout you go and play some challenging game like Tic-Tac-Toe instead?
Please, for the love of everything holy, stop delegating gameplay to AI and stop the anti-skill genocide at once, or we will soon have a nice looking game with the equivalent strategy of Rock-paper-scissors.

dito...
apart from the formation ideas (which would just be for asthetic value really) most of these suggestions would take away too much...
essentially i dont use bombers unless i want to have some fun... this is becuase, imo, bombing isnt as strategically sound as other airbourne options... but that doesnt mean you can let the ai improve the strategy but take away the fun of doing it yourself...

No
Storm Id mearly like the queing of attacks to be sensible. I dont want target prioritising, you should do that manuly yourself, nor do I want coffee to come out of my CD (Coffee Disspencer)... I much prefer water...
The last few posts (that are stricly on this subject) have all been against giving it over to the AI,
I'd love to see my bombers be able to choose seperate targets as they fly over (evaluating targets is a different story... I might want to flatten some defenses before my troops roll in, not hit the AA).
He wants them to not just all bomb 1 thing in that area... he dosnt want it to go ahh thats the best thing ill bomb that, hence his coment about him having to still micro the splating of AA insted of men.
V formation bomb thing is the best suggestion so far.
Hes just suggesting that the bombers should sped out and litteraly bomb the area, again theres no target prioritsing, infact you would lose if you did this all teh time so youd still need to micro yourself
And my bit,as ive said, i didn't want to remove the micro, just make it sensible.
