How do i do that though? The only thing for games i can find is the battle control thing, and i need to log into the server to do that. I have dial up and not on my laptop, which i use to play.

Edit: Thanks

Yeah, SpringSP is your best and pretty much only option for playing Spring single player.

At the: You need TA the Origina CD for Spring - line - why not change it into something less easy to missunderstood. How about

You can play TA Spring without owning a TA CD, but it is illegal.

I know all those Lawyers out there love such Sentences.... ;)

I made a mod called BloX, it kinda sucks but it is mostly free, mostly. A few bitmaps, and the nanospray are all that remain, and I don't even use the bitmaps for anything.

No, there are already solid, original content mods, so it's not just a matter of making some. It's more a matter of shifting mentalities, and of building a player base for them, and you can help there!

I said more (actually i said morre). Either way, all the original content mods are just not as complete as the OTA ones. I know that its a big ask to compete with a game thats been developed over 10 years, has hundreds of units, and is using the work of a professional game developer as its base- but thats what they're doing.

Especially considering most of these 3rd party mods are the work of just one guy. Since all these mods are usually copyright as well, you dont get the organic, evolving nature of the OTA mods (XTA, AA, BA, CA, NOTA, FunTA, LLTA) branching, changing, mutating (for better or worse). The best candidate for an evolving, open-source mod is KP, which has restricted strategic, tactical and unit choices and is somewhat limited in replayability and graphics, as good as a mod as it is. Its a real shame i couldnt get the CA team to work on an original content mod.

What do you mean.. EE has atm 3 complete sides (give or take 5 units) and is completely playable, with consistant artwork.. additionally why does something need to be constantly evolving..
