SunDir=0.008 0.556 -0.444; < that line specifically.

I've been saying this stuff for fucking ever, just because the devs can't track it down doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

^ fixed version ^

There is the off chance that it won't work any better for him, in which case his firewall or router is to blame (bursting packets that are too large and the firewall filters them out).

I firmly believe it's the map though, because nothing is as predictable as the neg sun values bug.

Nah, I'll pass. It's far more entertaining to make you go into contortions and gyrations over something that is 1) Not even relevant to this guy's disconnection (not crash) problem. 2) Not generally accepted by knowledgeable folks.

If you want to be right, how about going into the sun parser code, figuring out why negative sun values cause RANDOM crashes, not crashes all the time, and MAEK PATCH that fixes the issue. Otherwise, you're no better than the village elder who says throwing virgins in the lava pit for sacrifice will stop the volcano from erupting. It will seem like you're right some of the time just by chance...

contortions and gyrations?

thats a bit of a stretch, but if it makes you happy... run with it.

I get those crashes on maps DSD, charlie in the hills, and i can remeber but maybe moon x20 .For the rest im not pretty sure but i think i had problems on map like comet catcher or small supreme battlefield

today i was hosting 5v5 game and "crashed"(everyone was laged out i just lost connection like before but now i was the host so everyone lost it to) in 10:31 time it was a map called AmazonDeltaV12
Saktoth wrote: Since other players keep playing, it cannot be the hosts problem, and must be your end. It might be anything- some software or setting on your PC or router, it might be an ISP cutoff thing if you are on a really crappy ISP that cuts you off after 10 minutes of high traffic, it might be anything. But it is not spring crashing.
Saktoth i don't really know where did you get those ideas of ISP cutting me of from... i can use my full traffic 24/h all the time and they wont do anything
though it looks like that way that afther 10 mins of playing "someone" is cutting me off

btw i got a 100% proff that it is not the internet problem its my hardware or software
my friend who is playing spring too never had those problems like me and ive taken my pc to his house pluged it in and start playing same crash in nearly all games that lasted over 10 mins

and it was proven before that on other os not x64 i didnt have this problems to

so its really not my isp or internet coudl you finally accept it and stop telling the storys about my isp or internet...

ill try Forboding Angel theory and play some maps with not "negative sun"
and see if thats it

mb ill do some testing and see if it will crash when i speed up the game and pass 10 mins in game time

bah

Update your drivers, then go to http://speedtest.com

Test the speed compared to what you KNOW it is. If it is a considerable amount slower, aka more then 50kb/s lower, then call the internet company to get a new modem, do you have DSL, or Cable, it could be that you're in a crowded area, and when you host everyone else is online and it lags you if you have cable, because you all share it.

DSL does not have that problem, look into it or a new modem.

It's been proven, your pc is twice as good as mine, and I have no issues. Can you please just stick to the answer? Update drivers and compare the speed.

sorry i dont feel that you can help me...
btw ill stick to wireshark to monit if something is going wrong with my network... test of the speed wont prove anything...

Testing the Speed versus the speed it should be says if something on the network is slowing you down, or if the connection is slower then it should be which can be a modem issue, or a connection issue. Yet again, you have a better pc then me, I do not have the issue, and I have standard cable internet, 2000kb/s down, 222kb/s upload [allotted to me based on 4 pcs @ 8000kb/s down, 900kb/s up].

Are your drivers up to date, and have you tried Forboding Angel's idea?

didnt try it yet i need some ppl or bot for testing :/

but a good thing is that ive tested today a normal delta with some new guy
and speeded up the game to 3.0 form the start and it crashed afther 10 mins of the game to so its cool that i can test it without wating real 10 mins

Well I guess this bug helps put some motivation into the FLASHSPAEM

On an off note, you could try a complete reinstall of spring?
