I'm not really happy with how the texture is turning out, might be part to getting a new flat panel monitor.
For some reason I can't seem to reach the quality I got on the goliath.
Feels like chasing a unicorn..
But here is an update on what I have so far.

Doesn't quite fit in with ta, but I LOVE that style of texturing. Nice work!

Once this is done, I'm going to just keep moving on with the other Core L-1 vehicles for now, and after I've made some headway, I'll probably just go back and redo the boxier OTA style gator.

I think it needs a bit more dirt and wear.
There is a contradiction, in my eyes, between the very worn base metal texture, and the largely brand-new, unworn detail texture on top.
Particularly for things like the barrel and the muzzle (I don't really like the texture on the muzzle), I think you should show some smoke wear and soot.
Another way to liven it up a little is to put some more specific greebles in some areas, rather then just adding general technical-plate 'noise'. Which looks good, btw, but it does tend to fade into a more background effect.
Still, it's an excellent job.

I love the psuedo-cylon red glowy lines that core is getting in your work.

Much better than the original one. Does it have animated tracks or better do you need it scripted?
There's one thing though, could you add the red stripes on this one as well as the ones on the goliath to the glow map (red channel tex2)?

Yeah its got the 4-track-swap objects that needs to be scripted, rest of the gator should match up really closely so it won't need much if any additional scripting besides the track stuff.
I'll have the model and textures uploaded as soon as I finish up the .dds stuff.
Definately going to add the red spots to the glowmap for this, but I'll leave the goliath for now.
I really appreciate your help with doing the scripting Rattle, I don't think I would ever get these done without it
And Smoth for the track swap sexy code too :D

He's doin core vech right now... Personally I'd like to see a slasher, something a little different than a generic tank would be nice.

Hmmm, I was just wondering; how much built in ability does this unit have to fire up?

OK, textures are all done in .dds (hopefully won't need editing

), and this is ready for scripts.
