Well, why not? I don't have every mod for Spring installed, by any means, but I have probably downloaded most of the major ones, just because they might have a useful or interesting feature, and I try to keep track of releases that look interesting. You don't help yourself by being ignorant of what other people are doing, frankly, and you can learn a lot from what's already been done.was writing the script 2 weeks ago i couldnt find anything particularly useful (i dont have gundam)
im not saying i didnt look, i just didnt think to get gundam and look at it. i did look at numerous units with the properties i was after, but all of them handled it in a way that seemed overly complex for such a simple thing.Argh wrote:You don't help yourself by being ignorant of what other people are doing, frankly, and you can learn a lot from what's already been done.
AF, that is uncalled for, and my personal situation is unlikely to change in the forseeable future (seeing as how i have absolutely no idea what is causing the exhaustion, i just cant get rid of it) so what do i do? stop posting on the forums forever?AF wrote:Forum Rules

make some basic LUA missions, like thors, teaching you simple lessons like the strengths of each faction, how to defend, good combinations of units, the strengths of units, how to kill commanders etc etc put them in a series so someone can start at the easy and be pro at gundam by the end. use NTAI with the enemy side and make a good custom profile and it'll be a good easy way into the game.
all i ever figured out in gundam was that putting all the boys on airtransports they can fire off then surrounding the enemy commander with them = gg
pressure, what unit is that animation from? it looks awesome
I take you haven't heard of accelerate and decelerateArgh wrote:Some random babbling about spinning up and spinning down

spin r1 around y-axis speed <215.1337> accelerate <2>;
something i will probably never finish and almost certainly never release. the unit concept will likely be used elsewhere.1v0ry_k1ng wrote:pressure, what unit is that animation from? it looks awesome
Smoth doesn't "want people to play gundam" in the conventional sense...1v0ry_k1ng wrote:smoth, if you want people to play gundam, you need to put in some kind of a learning curve.
