Mmm, tasty. While I didn't like OTA screen-shake, I can definitely see several uses for this one...

i love this widget, but EMP bombers make the screen shake WAY WAY WAY too much

Playing undr XTA 9 I like the shakes but sometimes I wish they were stronger as most explosions dont have shakes. But it greatly enhances the gameplay imo.

hmm, i played a mod a few minutes ago that had a unnit that had extreme damage, it made the screen unable to play, it just jolted up and down and through about 6 camera postions. this allso happens for sevral tech 3 units going boom at the same time, is there a way you could put a max setting so the screen doesnt blow up lol

Wow! Sounds just like OTA! Mmm... and reminds me of my "Bob" unit, who just blew up with super screen shake settings so that my "opponent" who I was torturing couldn't do anything. I of course new about +noscreenshakes...

If you're having probs with tech 3 ppl then your loosing. A good player ahs already won before the enemy can reach tech 3.

Agreed.
In my opinion this update (.75b2) should have LuaUI enabled by default with these special effects. Really changes the game.

Also perhaps can we restrict the developer widgets to the svn build?

Reminds me of the Finnish game "Mine Bombers" Where you put a buch a nukes and then the screen shakes for 10 or more secs

I think we all need a scail bar for sensativity for this lua, no matter what mod. Turn it down for AA/BA mid-l8 game where the bigger stuff comes out n to turn it up for early game......

would just make it more fun for everbody if we had more indervidual control over this :cry:

All laser and gauss weapons in the XTA version which comes with 75b2 were ignored by it... any idea why?

It ignores explosions from weapons with an AoE below a limit. You can change this limit by editing line 36:
local minArea = 32 -- weapon's area of effect

Got EMP'd in match and the shakes are rly too heavy!!!
