I don't think it was meant to be good. I think it was meant to be some sort of evil frankenstein-esque experiment. Obviously pitting Nanoblobs against the URC against AA's Core would be unbalanced and silly - but it would be fun to try.

Actually I am not totally disagree with your idea. In fact, personally I do enjoy mix-and-match. However, as far as I know there are many hardcore fanboys for both sci-fi series, and Wars vs Trek has caused too many vigorous debates. There are full of arguments like "Trek outtechs Wars by millenia" or "a single ISD can take out the whole starfleet" and so on all over the internet, and such fanboys do exist in the Spring community. Beware not to cause such unnecessary flamewars, and good luck.

I'd like to see it, but I'm bummed that there is no B5. B5 has planet killers that could beat the snot out of the wussy Death Star. Superlaser my eye...I'd take hundreds of thousands of 100 megaton nuclear missles fitted with drill bits that dig to the center of a planet and blow it up inside from out!

To get back on track:

after some heavy debate, i will do everyone a favor by not doing it. but that doesnt mean i will toss out my ideas....

You could create your own little universe however...

Do an ST mod

Do a B5 mod. At least they have some semi-decent wars in it.

Nah, Stargate will blow all of Baby5 with naqahdriah-enhanced bombs! And Zombie Pirates are sooo cool, especially when mixed with giant robots shooting with lazer eyes! Just consider yourself happy I haven't include any ninja, for then the sheer awesomeness would have killed you.

And yes, despite all you naysayers, I am pleased to announce that progress on my Stargate vs Pirates of the Caribbean vs Xenoclone mod is going well!
