XTA, BA and AA are all mods of the old TA (Total Anniquilation). AA and BA are very similar and have a lot more units than XTA. XTA is (at least they say it is) closier to the old TA.

BA and AA is fast paced, has loads of extra units, cheap defences and hordes of units with fast buildtimes.
we're working on it... we just are putting ALOT more detail than blocks..Ogami_ito wrote:Not sure I saw the light yet. But I will not bring up SupCon in order to avoid the raging fanbois. That sounds scarry.Zpock wrote:Someone just saw the light...
About the maps though... If the engine can incorporate and rendor unit buildings like factories, can it not also handle non-fucntioning buildings? All you need to make a city is a bunch of polygonal blocks with a simple texture on it. I mean, you can put trees down on a map, right? How would buildings be any different?
what the hell....pintle wrote:I LIEK EX TEE AAY BEZT IF YOO DONT YOO ARE NUB

I stopped for 2 reasons... as I said already....LathanStanley wrote:it wasn't exactly released afaik, it had some issues with pathfinding and framerate... etc..
and it was 1 building, 1, over and over, and over, and over and over... you get the drift...
I'm pretty sure he was wanting to wait til it had more "stuff"...
lightpoles, different buildings, monuments... etc.
But... why? Those vehicles are so nice! (However for an Eastside Westside port you need trashed vehicle, not pristine ones.)smoth wrote:B: I deleted the base files
And yes, every unit has a "CrushStrength" value that allows it to crush any lighter feature.manored wrote:Can there be smasheable features? Seeing those Gundams smashing the cars like bugs would be great fun... :)
I was trying to "real up" east side west side, I was then going to do a more direct port.zwzsg wrote:But... why? Those vehicles are so nice! (However for an Eastside Westside port you need trashed vehicle, not pristine ones.)smoth wrote:B: I deleted the base files
I am an old guy, relatively speaking. I played TA in 1997. Awsome game. I liked it because it was a little slower. Much more defensive than other RTS. And I like the large number of units.drolito wrote:=> XTA is for old people ... if you are young and want to play quick come for a BA or AA :D1v0ry_k1ng wrote:XTA is slower paced with smaller groups of units.
