hey someone noticed 8)

this map is pretty huge and really needs at least 10 people. i'm gonna tinker around and make smaller version(s) until i get something that comfortably houses 8 players - it's hard to fill up games on maps unfamiliar to most people.

I'll take that response as a yes. Why T? I'm guessing that your first name starts with T?

and if i'm already posting i might as well say that i played the map and i really like how the sides play out with the island hopping by land units, although in your quest not to make defenses overpowered you made defenses under powered by making units move fast in the water and having all the range advantage of the defense being useless by units just coming out of the water and they are straight on top of the defense. I like it personally by i'm guessing you'll get some complaints about that.

i named them all T with no rhyme or reason 8)

the only units that submerge in the shallows are flashes and instigators, so those are the only units that really have an advantage coming out of the water against defenses. all the other land units stick out of the top of the water, and defenses will shoot at all of them just as if they were on land. this gives flashes and instigators an interesting advantage, as they sort of become little amphibious units, but remember they can't shoot over DT's, so just stick a wall on the coast of an island you need to defend and you'll be in good shape.
