What did you do? Double sided faces and lots of transparency (ribcage that is)?

Exactly! The chest consists of 68 polys and uses transparency excessively. There is little transparency on the hands and feet, too. I used double sided faces for the chest, the bladebones and the backbone - the rest are mainly three or four sided cylinder-derivates.

not 100% finished, gotta finish off the turret and barrel and add some nurnies etc

i like the skirts between the wheels, makes it look alot more aerodynamic

its the aliens APC. however that one middle segment thats broken into 3 parts can be 1 part with the mid section overlaying, or the top can be one piece and the sides 2 pieces with a gap in the middle for the wideer jutting section.

nah its actually based on the 'Gamma' car from an old (1997-1998) racing game called 'POD'

the top/centre is in 3 parts so that the sides can easily uvmapped with the top (ie the body is one big continuous mesh). considering that the whole thing is ~185 polies at present i figure its acceptable waste.

They're both UV'd at least, texture wise, probably going on my same route as usual.
