It costs as much as the freaker but can't build anything interesting. It's sole advantage is wind mills, however if you're an Arm player it's actually more efficient in terms of build power and cost to put out a bunch of t1 con kbots if you're spamming windmills. If you need reclaim power the t1 rezbot is still better (especially because of its stealth), and if you need a forward assist builder the t1 kbot is also better (since it's as fast as the t2 con kbot)REVENGE wrote:Why do you say that?YokoZar wrote:In other news, the FARK still sucks.1v0ry_k1ng wrote: in other news, fix the farking e-costs
Or keep your t1 lab and use rezers..YokoZar wrote:REVENGE wrote:YokoZar wrote:Basically the FARK just feels lame, especially for a t2 unit. It might be a lot more fun and balanced if it had some advantage, like much cheaper in cost than the Freaker and stealth ability.
Holy crap, you're right! Not only does the FARK cost more to build, but it has SIGNIFICANTLY LESS workertime to boot!YokoZar wrote: It costs as much as the freaker but can't build anything interesting. You're right, it's fun when Arm and Core feel different, and it's fun when no unit feels pointless. So it's a problem when Arm's t1 lab has better units than their supposed t2 replacementNiobium wrote: Or keep your t1 lab and use rezers..
Arm and core are not meant to have identical units.
Just like arm veh has consul while core veh has nothing.
We can haz jazcash permabannedJAZCASH wrote:We can haz captcha bot bak
Name : Raptor
Description :
My favourite unit - The Arm Raptor is a heavy assault mech that sports 3 weapons -
a powerful tesla coil, a mech-plasma cannon and quad-guided rockets. This unit can
really cause some serious damage. This unit IS transportable.
Name : Sentry
Description :
Sentry is a heavy assault kbot that sports a high energy laser and a heavy rocket as it's
secondary weapon. This unit is very deadly when in packs of 5 or more and can cause a lot
of devastation. Sentry can be considered as an Arm version of the Core Slaughter.
(THOR is awesome super fantastic unit!!! its opposite for krogoth in core so in my opinion this units is more that "must" be in BA 7.0, my main argument is to balance t3 arm with core)
Name : Elite K64
Description :
The K64 is an advanced heavy battlemech that is armed with a powerful railgun on one arm
and an impulsion blaster on the other - making it a deadly and effective kbot.
Name : Thor
Description :
Thor is another experimental assault k-bot out of the High Tech Lab that can be
considered as the counter for Core's Krogoth experimental kbot. Although not as
powerful as Krogoth, it can still pack a punch.
Name : Warhammer WHM-6K
Description :
The warhammer is an assault / heavy weapons BattleMech - it's one of the most powerful
mechs around. It sports a long range laser, a heavy missile launcher and a heavy
mech rocket.
Name : Mumbo
Description :
Mumbo is a rapid firing laser tank that fires in quick successions and has a quick
turn rate too. Good against large amounts of level 1 vehicles where a fast attacking
unit is needed.
Name : Trocadero
Description :
Trocadero is a riot control tank that fires machine gun-like bullets at quick
successions.
(my favourite core unit :) )
Name : The Duke
Description :
The Duke is a machinegun trooper that fires quick bursts of machinegun bullets that can
be deadly to small targets, but may not be as effective on larger units.
(opposition for Raptor)
Name : Slaughter
Description :
Don't let the size of this Hunter Mech fool you. Slaughter can be very powerful in large
numbers as it carries a powerful mech cannon and two heavy rockets. Size does NOT matter.
Name : Cougar
Description :
Cougar is a heavy assault mech armed with a long range laser and two heavy mech rockets.
This unit can take some serious damage before going down, and when it goes down it goes
out with a big bang, taking out nearby units.
Name : Tracker
Description :
Tracker is an infiltration kbot that has cloaking abilities and has radar jamming
capabilities as well ! Truly a unique core unit, even the way it fires it's gun is most
unusual.
Name : Troll
Description :
Troll is the counterpart of Arm's Thor Level 3 Kbot - but troll is far stronger than the
former with 3 powerful weapons - a heavy gauss cannon with a decent area of effect, troll
heavy rockets with a large area of effect (metal per shot = 15) that does some really
serious damage but takes a long time to reload and a powerful short range laser to take
care of those pesky little units.
Name : Ketzer (old name: Heretic)
Description :
Ketzer is a heavy battlemech that is armed with a gattling gauss cannon and deadly long
ranged rockets - this unit can cause some serious damage to your enemies if used properly.
The way you described every single one of those was as a super heavy unit that kills all the rest.MATAS wrote:greetingsand thx for answers
No, they just cause serious damageYokoZar wrote:The way you described every single one of those was as a super heavy unit that kills all the rest.MATAS wrote:greetingsand thx for answers
why y think like that, have y ever played old total annihilation?TheFatController wrote:Seriousanswer: Senna might be interested in those units for Advanced BA (aka DSD Special), but they're too outlandish for BA.
btw, i wasnt author of thease descriptions, it was just quoting from official TA page (planettotalannihilation)YokoZar wrote:The way you described every single one of those was as a super heavy unit that kills all the rest.MATAS wrote:greetingsand thx for answers
MATAS wrote:seriously playing again again again again again again and again on same unist its just boring, core players playing t2 kbots make pyros, arm play zeuses, arm t2 veh play bulldogs and pentrators, core t2 veh play reapers and banishers or suprise? goliath.
Otherwise... everything ends with t2 bomb attack or LRPC spam....![]()
and again again again again again again THE SAME!
MATAS wrote:People need some new options add some new units,if y make it logically game wont be unbalanced, just will get more attractive.
At least think about thor... and t2 slaughter and sentry, they're really not broken...
MATAS wrote:We can make VOTING about adding new units to BA... y will see then what people think about it
Two simple principles guide the unit design:MATAS wrote:seriously playing again again again again again again and again on same unist its just boring, core players playing t2 kbots make pyros, arm play zeuses, arm t2 veh play bulldogs and pentrators, core t2 veh play reapers and banishers or suprise? goliath.
