I think it would become easier when youve built it and you can see the direction its flying and the exhaust coming out one end and the weapons out the other.

well sure curved wings aren't bad by definition but doesn't look arm-y or plane-y

Sort of true but not everyone uses LUPS (-> no exhaust) and as a fighter fires not so often and there are no visible weaponslots (at least not in the mesh) it totally would be uninteresting if the weapons get spawned on the one side of the plane or the other...

Imo the mesh already should give you an idea on this although it's true that you can "correct" a lot with the texture but to my mind that's not an excuse for not caring about a precisely defined mesh (not that anyone here has said so yet)...

Well I think it depends a bit. You might argue about the strenght of the bending but imo Arm always had a bit more round things in their aircrafts like for example for the Thunder and Phoenix while Core was more straight and sharp edged...

well its not ota arm its CA arm which is quite different

unless maybe if they were shaped like AK magazines, or an axehead.

but then I don't like the peewee either. though it's built out of spheres so sort forwards pointing spear wings would be out anyways if you had some sort of side design going.

You wasted a lot of polygons on the wings.

Well it's still the question if they are curved forward - I'd say the are curved backwards. At first sight I also thought that the bottom right picture would show the front but you can see the thruster and on the bottom left there's a front view without thruster (at leats I think it has to be the front) and so the bottom right has to show the back and so the wings are curved backward. Maybe a sad thing because I see much more cockpit like mesh on the back than on the front...

what you would call the front is blackened out though, so I figure thats the back.

Well but if what I call the front is the back there would be no thruster or anything like that and I also don't think the CA fighters will have the need for an ultra sized super laser emitter which would get shot from that big cylindric thing at the "front" (and it can't be sort of a deviced that sucks in air as it's bright in the middle - just like an engine)...

Maybe Otherside should make clear what's the front and what's the back - that was my point anyway...

I think its a laser thing, although a giant turbine in the middle with an animated fan would be really awesome.

The CA guys have not made any declaration on wether CA arm is evil or not or if there is an evil/good side and theyre both evil or both good. People are just assuming because they initially used TA models and names to save time.

IMHO (if you reverse the direction of flight) it looks like an upgraded CORE drone - maybe a T1 core fighter?
