Hum, why do people feel the need to quote the whole image?
My poor 56k can't take it anymore!

I have the textures posted on my website, in the gallery section for each unit. It's under the "misc" section, and it's the "render4" page.

Coruscant can be spic and span, afterall we have invented self cleaning windows, and coruscant has had thousands of years to invent similar technologies and mass produce them. For all you know their buildings are designed to be clean and may even have cleaning droids.
Damage decal textures would be good though.

Just a correction. In my first post, I stated that the B-wing was by Wolfy, but it's actually by Hawkman, an old MIA SWTA member who has since returned, and has heaps to offer us in terms of modelling.
Sorry Hawk!

To prove his existence further (as if we were doubting it ¬_¬ ), Hawkman has done us a gorgeous new A-wing model:

Meanwhile, I've done the Rebel T4-B Battle Tank, which will replace the current battle tank, as well as act as a chassis for the MPTL and Mobile Stormcannon:

That shading is ugly as sin and I have no idea what it looks like from that screen shot. Can you do it like the last one?

The texture on the A wing is only a place holder, right?

The A-Wing isn't textured.
that's just object colors in a render straight form MAX

The edges around variussmoothign groups have also been split(actually faces are detached to separate elements) to keep Spring from smoothign the parts I dont' want smoothed, so it'll look pretty muchlike this in game.
only textured :p
gah, can't post picture, spam regulation...

Gotcah. Once it IS textured it will look very pretty full, I'm sure.

Unfortunately, if I didn't put rhino's 'display wireframe' feature on, you'd barely be able to make it out at all. I hate rhino's renderer.
For reference, it is meant to look like this:

Oh! Those things!
I remember them from that semigood game that came out a while ago.

Uhh..
I suppose I could post some pictures of the new stormtroopers soon. I'll finish the rocket launcher first...

Double post, hooray!
New Stormtroopers, modelled by myself and skinned mostly by myself. Zsinj added the dirt on the armor.
Front left is the normal Stormie, with an E-11 rifle. Right is the repeater trooper, with a T-21 Light Repeater. Rear left is the anti-air missile trooper with a PLX-2M, and finally in the rear right is the Flamethrower trooper, with a CR-24 flame rifle.
Each trooper is around 600 triangles; each gun is around 150. In layman's terms, they're 750 triangles on average. In this screenshot, each has a 256x256 pixel, 85 KB skin saved as a DXT5 DDS.
Now I just need to do the E-webs, Speeder bike, and AT-RT...

Nice work. Although you might want to edit the uv map of the faces on the boot so that the bottom is flat and that should remove that jaggedness because of the low res. Unless thats intentional of course.

Why DXT5? You seem to be using "solid" alpha values, i.e. no gradients. DXT3 worked for me for that. Or is DXT5 better?

Hmmm, not quite done with the dirt on those stormies, and I'd like to make those guns look a little better.
Dammit, stupid uni, I wish I had the time.
I think I have a holiday coming up in a few weeks, so I can get more done then.
