Sleska, have you read my many posts that say I am NOT a good player? because I readily admit that. I just give a good fight I hate winning and if it looks like I am going to win I stop being interested. In fact, I think I have only won 2-3 games in my history of spring. I am not sure but I know I have a huge loss count and I like it that way. There is more to learn if you play against people who can beat you.
if you are losing all the time it might indicate you arent really learning anything

Ive smurfed in a few ee games ^^
He does sometimes rage quit. I'd still pull him, Chapp, Forb and Lathan for a wild team.

He can still kick my ass when he is in "wining" mode. Rage quits in my mind are not losses. They are a call for a rematch.

LOL, Im sorry but if you rage quit when your losing you don't deserve a rematch... thats the lowest of the low, its a straight out LOSS.
At least go down with the ship, I do, Ive played god damn daywalker and his secret helper monkey on keyboard number 2 so many times, lost, congratulated him, got a replay and ummm... lost again.

+1 But at the same time, a ragequit is it's own special trophy.

But if you never win that means you never use what you learned by losing, so whats the point of playing?

Why play even if I know I am going to lose? To see cool battles, to see and try new tactics. I am sure IF I played more regularly I would win more often. Part of the reason for my losing streak is that it took almost 2 years for me to reach star rank. That means, I do not get to play often. Hell, I still thought I could paralyze a krogoth in BA till noize told me no, that has long since been changed.
You have to keep up with current mods and play them frequently to learn the mod well enough to win against anyone who is not a noob. Before my 1.1 release of gundam I was starting to get really good but that was also because I played for a week straight. Since then, I have been testing different versions, doing real life stuff and have been more interested in testing things out in game then I have learning wining strategies. That is part of the reason we mod makers are notorious for sucking at our own mods. While you guys get to play our work and enjoy the fruits of our labor we spend all of our time producing new and exciting content.
It is like you worked at a nice italian restaurant and they served this one pasta everyday during your shift. You have work to do and you are making that pasta. All the clients eat it and you cannot keep any for yourself. After a while you forget how good the pasta tastes and you do not want to make any at home because you are tired of cooking it and there is no one to enjoy it with at home. So you know all about this tasty dinner pasta but until you take a day off you will never get to eat it.
I have discovered a few tricks in gundam but BA has changed soo much that I would have to relearn it to get good again. So in short, because I like to give a good fight. I will not play often enough to keep up with the current wining tactics and strategies and yes, they do change. I like playing though and since I am in game I will give the hardest fight I can. Last test match I rebuilt my base 3 times in different spots and I almost did it in a 4th but Aun kill my con as he was collecting metal.

Smoth plays simply to play, in the purest sense.. and there is nothing wrong with that, In fact I enjoy playing gundam against him because I dont feel like I have be crazy competitive instead its a much more relaxed slightly silly atmosphere, and in the end fun..
Unfortunately it appears I have gotten to good at EE to play with straight up noobs anymore..

Plus we set things so that we *think* they'll do this, when ingame they really don't...
That and Nemo = incredibly awesome at winning

Pish posh. One of these days I fully expect a random to pick up '44 and own me at it.
At least, I hope so. I think one of the current problems is that '44 is a little on the complex side, so I end up winning by virtue of the fact that I know what everything does.
Edit: oh, you're talking about my games against you in epic
at that point, epic played pretty similarly to '44, so I had more practice with that style of play than you probably expected.

I doubt it.

I only won the first Epic game with you because Predators were unbalanced, and I hadn't 'unfunnied' the unit descriptions, so you had no idea what to build :P
