Try out stitch, chart to, flip, normalize, etc.
4. If you need to line up two charts, select the edges you want to match and do Rotate->Chart to X (or Y).
Or two vertices. They don't have to be adjacent to each other which is useful sometimes

Some overlays are not correct becaus the model is not te same on the left side and the right side, try connecting all edges in the exact centre so that you can delete the left or right side of the model, do this and select the big face that you get, use mirror to get it the same, g2g now, but I'll help you out some more later.

I have some trouble making my model clean. In Wings it shows up fine in wireframe and in normal view. When i appy a (for testing) texture it seems the gun has polygons connection funny to eachother. I tried the clean up option with no result. I cant select those strange sides what arent in the fido.wings.
Maybe it has to do with exporting to obj? or will it turn up in spring differently possibly than in upspring? Plz help i kinda stuck at this to proceed to the next step. Actually make a desent texture.
Tx in advantages

select all objects and go to face mode, then click tessalte>triaquangualate <-- written wrong, now everything is tri-ed, delete the tri's that cause the problems and make it work, then do a cleanup.

The new one's wasting a lot of polycount, imo. Those toes, for example, will hardly be visible at typical zoom.

The leg design is pretty much as impractical as it gets.

I like the idea of a Fido platform that could be upgraded/morphed for different roles.
