MR.D wrote:yeah, the large base isn't really needed for this type of unit.
From a realism standpoint, rockets create no recoil forces when they're fired, so a large and wide heavy base might not be so necessary, as its not likely to fall over unless it gets hit by something huge.
Its good work regardless, keep it up.
if a bullet hits it and it falls over it's not very useful either.

Isn't that one of the points of CA? No need to cloud the *A with more.
Yes, but unlike CA, people would play a better looking BA.

Yop :)
Just a try for the HLT model. Actually the mod is not done and the design don't fit with the original one. It's looking ugly at the moment but i just post this image to have your opinion on the "deployement system" I've set.

May I do the model this way ? Like my AA def model, it's too much different from the original one I think ( but I didn't like the original AA model :p )
Feel free to throw rocks on me

I like the closed up version, but it's lost a bit of the original sentinel feel (that could be just nostalgia though). The whole opening up mechanism feels a little silly though, it's very flimsy and unnecessary - why wouldn't it just fire in the closed state?

Definatly.
Clsoed state is nice but i think the pole of the tower should be more complex its very simple plus the pyramidic shape isnt a good idea IMO.

I like it a lot. Now it needs a good texture.

But how does the turret rotation work? While left/right might work the connection imo is a bit too thin here. For the up/down rotation I also see this problem plus I think that this "shielding" above the guns would collide with those "claws" in the middle right above the pole...

At least right now it works here...

But referring to the full image I like that model.

I think it looks sweet, but the little robot arms do sort of contrast badly with the armor plating on the side
you could put it in a lamborghini cockpit like so

Okey, let's try without any deployement system.

Looks better i think
@ Machiosabre : yeah, I've already tried but it's looking a bit ugly cause it's 'disproportionate'. The head is too big and the tower to thin :/
