Current icons are bad.

dude, dont just agree to that guy, make the damn picture. its not that hard to colorize it... i cant do it because you will find something to whine again anyways. (i suppose you are talking about my suggestion for the golden veteran star, if not, then Gota need to learn to quote...).

The original ranks look all giffy though

Take your first 4 ranks Jaz,add in tasclient's current last 4 stars and combine them.
Adjust sizes and color pallet and gg.

Its same as trying to make radar icons look orgasmic, and not care about how distinguishable they would be, but how beautiful they could be. And then after few days of playing you cry because you cant see difference between pw and krog.

We're talking about lobby graphics. If I cared about ingame graphics I wouldn't be playing BA would I?

I think the first rank icon should be new and all the rest should get bumped up... I nominate my baby Icon... I also like small star, star with ivy, big star for top three.

i prefer just replace the first rank with smurf icon and add the gold vet star just like i made it.
