Delicious. Are we going to try another succession once the bugs/problems are ironed out?

I'll be happy to just play the game without my dwarfs freezing.

I think at the moment the most interesting aspect of the game is cavern exploration in the adventurer mode, since the fortress mode is quite broken still.

my dwarfs died from thirst while digging tunnels, with about 500 drink in stock, multiple wells and lots of water around.

That's just their new dedication to work :-). Though I've played around a bit and haven't had any dwarfs actually die from too much work, miners tend to pass out in the most inconvenient places.

It has been playable since first release... but it's pretty frustrating to lose half the dwarfs in your fortress to Alzheimer. Especially all the dwarfs you assign to military duties. You need them...

Oh, it's also fun when your dwarfs spontaneously melt.

At least Toady fixed farming.

Why else would there be a sticky of some other game that has no connection to Spring what so ever?

To support other indie games in our off topic section.

Nah, honestly, just because it's awesome, and the thread is awesome.

Corrupt moderatorship is partial! I demand that a clear rule be edicted about which criteria is used to elect indie games to sticky status!

Minimum criteria is a learning curve with a delta skill/delta time of 10 hours per percentage of game figured out.
Also, not allowed to look newer than 1998.
