Yes.
Also, I think we're supposed to use this release:
http://planetspring.free.fr/spring/inst ... 0.76b1.exe
We'll just have to get it, download it, and test, I guess.

Also, it appears we'll need the test version of SpringLobby.exe, in order to make use of the "Registryless" feature of SpringSettings.exe (which is necessary, since SpringSettings doesn't currently "see" the new Registry entries for Spring 0.77b1
SpringLobby.exe
DLL files (necessary)
And don't forget to download the DLLs, they aren't included in the package, for some strange reason.
And connect to 82.239.138.44 as the test Server.

Fixed. I'd forgotten about the truncated-links stuff. And I have no idea whether SpringSettings will actually work, when invoked by SpringLobby, but I hope so, or this is going to be a short testing session.
Sorry about the flaming hoops, testers.

/facepalm
A quick test with SP from both the SpringLobby and TASClient showed that the Registry entries were NOT read correctly by either, and that it was still using some screwed-up defaults.
Basically, we're hosed. Screen rez was 1024/768, various other settings are wrong, numbers don't show up correctly... meh, it all works from Spring.exe, but it will not work correctly, run from the Lobby.
We can play, but it will be ugly as hell, with be full of errors (for example, the number of things you're building won't be visible), sound won't work right... and it won't be fun. I've rarely seen such a mess.
We need a fixed Installer that includes a Settings that actually works and resolves this stuff with Lobby clients, pronto.
At any rate, until I have a solution I've tested... just hold up, play a few games with KAIK, etc., I guess

that's a problem:( but the good thing is that when it's fixed i'll have a better version of this
http://spring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtop ... 13&t=15804 so we can play on it

The "new" version of spring (as in the current SVN) uses a different registry key so all setup tools will be useless. It'd be easier if you supplied a bunch of reg files for different host configurations right now until someone adds support for the new registry location to the settings program.
