Fuck all the people who are going after him, all the dirty politicians and all the fake journalists.

This prosecution and censorship is just crazy. He is a hero.
He leaked tons of stuff before this leak that had nothing to do with the US like the release about corruption in that African state that changed the elections etc etc...
They also released tons of leaks about corporations and man other countries around the world.

Doesn't really make any difference now anyway, dunno why'd they'd bother. Hundreds of people have the documents, including several large media organisations. The only way politicians could stop the viewing of this information would be to ban the internet and pay the media several millions to scrap the documents :P

Wikileaks: Look your governments been doing all this shit to you behind your backs, here's the truth!

Correct Response: NEW GOVERNMENT PLEASE!, thankyou wikileaks for bringing to our attention the horrible things the people we voted for did to backstab us and drag the reputation of our proud country through the mud. They shouldnt be allowed to get away with this

Actual American Public Response: DOWN WITH WIKILEAKS

Actually they already got away with 99% of the stuff being on news in 1 form or another. Nobody just gives a fuck these days.

What's more interesting/distressing than most of the leak, or at least something that is genuinely new info, is the government response to it.

Getting kinda confused as to where this thread is going but,
I think there are a lot of people who don't know what peer-pressure is.
I think there are a lot of people who do not realise how similar human social structure can resemble that of chips.
And I think a lot of people don't realise daily school routine (for instance the timetable that is used) has not changed very much since the industrial revolution, while a lot of other related 'branches of society' (for lack of a better term atm) have.

And I suppose a lot of these people could be professionals in one way or another in the school and education environment.

I'm not surprised some people think that those things can hurt school systems. (Or even feel they have been hurt by it.)

But for now I still think people need to go to school, because otherwise (and I heard this one on 'Have I got news for you' tonight) American public response will be that all this cablegate stuff can/should be solved by just invading the country of Wikipedia. :-)

trademarks statement struck me as ignorant as this one:

"only humans war"

LOL PRIMATES DO IT.

genocide?
one pack will annihilate a pack. if they could do it on a larger scale they would, they simply lack the tech.

Enlightenment, which can be brought about through education as been shown to reduce the probability of violence occurring.
