He wasn't AFK.
For a whole 24 hours, for a ragequit - which is somewhat reasonable - but the verbal abuse is probably what got you the banstick STFU.
Hint: The verbal abuse would've stopped the second they started helping. They have themselves to blame for that.
Also, pretty sure he said it was a permament ban, not that I care either way. Besides, once the admins starts threatening you because you won't let them play SimCity, there is no other option than ragequitting.

Wow, a thread about a ban policy and you didn't expect complaints? And when you see them you reply with one line posts to increase your post count?
I was banned for trying to get people to realize they need to help the front, nothing else. Yet the people who votekicked someone FOR NO GOOD REASON were not banned at all.

Seriously, Mephistos can ban everyone he wants to, it's his server, same for his admins, if they ban you it's your fault, you all say that the admins are stupid and ban everyone but I never had a problem with them, and stop voting to ban noobs, they need to learn to play the game, everyone has been a noob.

Did I claim otherwise? Hell no, I was just saying that his banning reasons are idiotic at best.

You have certain expectations of a host, if you visit a friend and he decides to beat you up do you blame yourself?
and stop voting to ban noobs, they need to learn to play the game, everyone has been a noob.
Vote banning noobs should be a bannable offense (unless there's a rank requirement on the server, of course), trying to get some help when it's a TEAM game shouldn't.
In Mephisto's Lair it's the other way around.

Here, get this. Some complete noob admin called gerkinzola actually went to the extent of quiting our game just as we were playing, purely so that he could join... As a spec. I mean.. What the fuck?! Even Niobium(another admin) wasn't impressed. Ofc if gerkinzola was an ordinary player he would have been banned but no! He is an almighty Admin. I have nothing against the host or most admins but come on.. At least have responsible admins. Please get back to me on this one Mephistos, that is if you will actually admit to this epic phailure on behalf of your choice of admins. I would be most grateful if we could further debate the above outlined act of lunacy, because I'm sure you will be happy to ban gerkinzola from your bot as what he did was most deserving of such a punishment!

Yours is the first useful post in a while. No need for all the crying, just state the facts. I have looked into this and this gerkinzola is now removed from admin and has a 1 week ban to think about it.

i wonder why theres so much drama about a BA autohost wen theres a ton of BA games open hosting DSD 24/7 O_o
and you should be happy you got banned from a BA DSD game maybe you will try something else...
