keyboard layout affects where the keys are rather than which (named) key does what then.. (you follow that logic zell?)

so if I put `+ middle click

thats correct for everyone (by default)

no, here it's \ + middle click :P (still the key below escape, besides 1)

ahh ok. Any other keys have this issue?

'key below escape'. that covers it pretty much?

Yeah but everyone tells you to press `, no one ever describes where on the keyboard it is. ` is at the left side of my enter key here, and it requires me pressing shift in addition.

Besides, I wouldn't be too confused if someone actually moved that key away from under esc on some keyboard layouts too.

That said, it's
` + double left click for points with descriptions and
` + middle click for simple points

edit: scatch that

according to keymap image both ` and \ draw. So as I thought its the named keys not the position of the keys that matters (fits with what zell is saying).

this seem correct?

(On a UK/US keyboard ` is to the key left of 1. The same functionality is mapped to the \ key)

drawinmap is mapped to three different keys by default, iirc.
