Wait what? Ya, it happens here too. I personally think it's ridiculous, but we're not going to make rules against it. Try to find me an FPS server with friendly fire on that won't ban for intentional team killing if you're talking about the rules we do enforce here.

Knob got banned for something like 3 months for combombing.

If you want to tell me that forcing rules to play is a dumb idea, go get rid of you mod team :)

For reasons I cannot explain, is it a rule that bots which give smurf information based upon tracking users IP's CPU's and country are not allowed?

He got banned for combomming his allies [edit]For like the 6th time in 3 months. Like I say, find me a friendly fire CS server that doesn't ban for intentional teamkills.

"you're not allowed to walk inside houses" "you're not allowed to shoot into spawn" "you're not allowed to whatever"

It's stuff that could and should be changed in the game code if that the way you want to play. It's especially frustrating to be playing a server and then find out half way through the admin is a nutjob and you're breaking a ton of rules that make no sense to begin with.

i don't enjoy the whole spawn killing restriction, your preaching to someone who hates limitations.

So you think any CS player should be allowed to quickly tap B22 and then autoshotty all of his teammates every round?

Okay Im, i dont think you got what i was saying, quakelive you have to wait to play, there is hardly any community, theres no physics and it is not a console game.

And yes Peet, its the same with cod4, you can use a noob-tube (grenade launcher attachment) to any assault rifle and hit the enemy spawn.

If the devs haven't replaced the feature then i dont see why you shouldnt be able to do it.

game rules and playing rules are another topic, but i totally agree with you on the com bomming. make a lua script to prevent it if some ppl consider it cheating.

any how i think one person in another forums best said it with the gaming systems:

wii's are for people who game socially ie: party/ get together
xbox's are for the gamers who want the widest variety and most user friendly gaming, ie: general audience
ps3's are for gamer who have to play their PS exclusive (usually anime/ Japanese franchised based) games
and
PC's are for the modders

but really nothing will beat a mouse and keyboard control wise, well for some time at least

personally, i think people have it wrong and right when they go on about keyboard control.

Sure its amazing that you have a function for every key + combining keys, but i think movement is a lot (and i stress the amount)better with a control stick. If they could combine some method of letting me use a mouse, keys and a joystick easily without moving my hands a lot.. then i'd feel connected.

Looking and moving are different here, mouse is amazing for view, stick for 360 degree movment without changing view angle.

IMO, when i play COD4 with an xbox 360 controller, i can judge distance and timing like i would with my own two feet, where as on PC, i feel only having 4 movement keys restricting.

Your sarcasm fails. Making kids scream and cry is the more entertaining form of gaming.

Thus cult status, and pre-orders of the sequal as soon as it came publicly announced.
COD4 in cult status? Boy you have no idea what cult status means.

Once upon a time there were screaming little kids in PC gaming. Luckily parents are too afraid of the internet these days due to all those hackers on steroids on the fox news, so the kiddies have mostly graduated to xbox live.

The fact that people openly talk about how much they enjoy COD4, buy all the stuff that goes with it, and being the only xbox game in history to keep it price for nearly 2 years?
