This isn't a bug. Sometimes you want your units to engage at the maximum range. Often times the complaint is the opposite, as in people complaining that their destroyers are rushing torpedo launches to use their depth charges instead of staying away and using their cannons. What would be good is in the movement options to have 'hold position, manouver, roam" where if you select manouver, they try to use their longest range weapon, and if you select roam, they move close to use all weapons.alik83 wrote:...

To fix this, move your units closer. It is much easier to fix this 'bug' by moving your units closer, than to constantly babytend other units to make sure they don't get too close.

things I have found...
1: faces that have no texture are solid black.
2: no way to select core on single player menu.
3: there seems to be a minor issue with the way spring handles scripts. See mod thread.
4: another thing is that the game when you leave first person view of a unit you are controlling... that unit tends to wander off after you leave it's control.
there are others but I am still trying to eliminate my mod from the cause of them.

when you're typing a message in game the text doesn't wrap around (and it's a very big font size) so after the first four or five words you're 'typing in the dark' as to what you've actually written and have to delete & retype most of your message if you make a mistake but can't remember where exactly.

some more bugs
I just found a bug.
When you use FPS mode on a toaster (popup pasma cannon), and has not popped yet, the game crashes (for all players).
Maybe this happens to all popup weapons,i dunno.

Jesus!
My game always crashes after the loading screen once I downloaded the server patch. This is disappointing.
