Hello,
I'm running spring version 105.0.1 on Devuan (Debian) Linux kernel 6.8.X .
It's been a while since I played a spring game. In this case, I'm trying to play my favorite spring game, Kernel Panic. It's version 4.9.
I'm uncertain if I've found a bug or if it's due to some other cause, so I'm posting here.
I start the game up, it doesn't really seem to matter what map nor which AI, and the game crashes just after rendering the map. I've chosen "quad core" map and "Kernel Panic AI" for the attached crash dump file.
How do I get kernel panic to work? Do I need to report a bug?
Thanks!

Re: Kernel Panic causes crash
I read the changelog but it's unclear to me what really caused the crash.
I see:
Error: Bus error in Spring 105.0.1
then some C++ stacktrace.
These forum have been rather deserted for last decade, so the hope of having an actual dev see your message are slim. I supposed could try you luck with the Zero-K or theBalanced Annnihilation Reloaded sorry, Beyond All Reason community which as I understand are now carrying the torch, but of course Kernel Panic won't work as is under those forks.
Or you could attempt to use older versions of the Spring engine.
Good Luck!
