libsdl2-dev and spring static linking

Spring requires libsdl2-dev package in order to run properly on *buntu (dunno about other distros, but I would assume the same for all at least /debian), so why isn't it statically linked like the other libraries?

If it's any consolation, not all other libs are statically linked (e.g. libcurl). They should be though.

I'd like to solve all this with the hunter package manager
