I don't like the windows. I feel like am looking at 2 4 meter ships.

Yes! Less "this boat is being driven by human sized cylons" and more "this ship is a huge-ass cylon".FireStorm_ wrote:I made some changes. No reason. Just because. (thanks smoth)
Re: Random WIP 2013+
That looks bafass. Very much like a military ship
Re: Random WIP 2013+

Re: Random WIP 2013+
Carrepairer, which shader version are you using?
Re: Random WIP 2013+
Its the Andy Warhole shadder. Thats not a version, that is art. Could be a can of tomatosoup there, and still would be

It's the one in ZK. It hasn't changed much in a while, but has the added menu options. Whenever you finish whatever enhancements you're adding to it, it can be merged in.

About the bloom:
Some of the intensities seem to be a bit out of wack. I'm assuming the bloom is a uniform post process, so what you may want to do is multiply the intensity of the emissive materials (glowy bits) by something like 20 times (until the core material is basically white and only the bloom kernels are actually colored) and multiply the intensity of the bloom in general by 0.5 or so. Currently, it looks like the bloom is catching the specularity on everything far too much while leaving the emissive materials relatively untouched.
Looking pretty good though. I'm glad someone is taking up the torch and powering through Arm.

Re: Random WIP 2013+
Bob, unfortunatly that is very difficult for me, as the materials are not written to any buffer, so i cant tell wether something is bright because its glowing or because its reflecting.

Yes, well, some guys did only half and then just left...Mr. Bob wrote:Looking pretty good though. I'm glad someone is taking up the torch and powering through Arm.
No, actually your stuff is the art corner stone on which we build.
General notice: Gotta do some other stuff next couple of weeks, but after that I expect to crank out more textured units.
And a picture, because RandomWip always needs more pictures or something
