I recently purchased a Rift dev kit, which will hopefully arrive by August. I'm hoping to basically reuse code from one of the open source projects to add distortion so we can at least make the Oculus Rift a display option for Spring. Head tracking may be beyond my abilities, and drivers / SDK aren't available for Linux under the GPL yet anyway.
