Ide just like to see what people think is really good at the moment. NOT what you dont like and want chainging.

What should be LEFT ALONE?

Ak -vs- Pw good?

Factory build time ok?

Remember, just note whats good, not whats wrong with xta please. Make another thread if you want something changed. Not bug fixes, just on the balance would be appreciated.

I like that the community of players disappeared/collapsed after XTA 9.2-9.3 when Noruas began making gamebreaking experimental changes.

I think the commander upgrades are good for the mod, the Commander has always been important to xta people and used a lot. Now there are two commander choices, automatic or manual morphing. I just wonder if people seem to prefer the manual one that maybe the other one needs to be improved (or maybe it's because of the idle animation).

I think commander morph (dgun and live anyone?) totally wrecked 1v1. Is the "no morph, normal com" option back in the mod yet? I cannot stress how strongly I disagree with the notion that morphing com improved XTA.

Idle animation is a total joke should have been removed long ago. In many longer 1v1s commander will end up cloaked and stationary, ejaculatory dgun directly damages competitive play.

I'm aware this is a "what do you like about current XTA" thread and I'm just posting negative opinions, but I have not played enough recently to tell you what's good, just what irritated me enough to stop me playing.

Is the "no morph, normal com" option back in the mod yet?
Was it ever gone?
I just looked and in modoptions there is Starting Commander = "Plain Commander"
Has no morph, doesnt fap.
Only gains more maximum HP has he kills stuff. (afaik that was always the case for all units, including coms)

Yes, there is plain commander option. I think it was missing for a while when we rewrote one of the commoption gadgets.

I like how XTA is like window into the past where I can see what spring was like 6 years ago, because it hasn't really changed.

oh and I like the can unit, it is well good
