Lobby password reset?

Post by Hoi »

Could someone reset my lobby password?

Username would be [1up]Hoi

It's possible that the name is a bit longer, but I'm not entirely sure anymore. It's been too long since I logged in. This should be enough, I hope?

No. Don't make it more intimidating than it already is to start Spring.

Maybe made it a post registration thing... you could do it like IRC such that you can say "/something recoveryemail=blah@blah.com" and the server would store it for you... this would make the system backwards compatible to all lobby clients without bugging anyone about it... maybe you could have a server message reminding you you don't have one every time you start up the lobby and don't have one.

Yeah, something like that would be ideal imo. That way I can use it in TASClient without needing Satirik to return and implement a button or w/e :D

Then just something like /recoverpass and it sends your password to the email address if previously provided.

If this was implemented years about when I was bawwing about it I don't imagine they'd have been quite so many people losing their accounts.
