1v1 BA Tournament - 28/04/2012 (Tomorrow)
Re: 1v1 BA Tournament - 28/04/2012 (Tomorrow)
This is very short notice. You're gonna need to do a lot of spamming in the lobby to get enough players.
What's your username on the lobby anyway? And why aren't you in the #tourney channel?
Seeding should be interesting.

There will still be 30 specs ..., You should instore a rule like if you have not play a tournament in last month you cannot spec :DJazcash wrote:This is very short notice. You're gonna need to do a lot of spamming in the lobby to get enough players.

Great to see more 1on1 action!
However, I am disappointed to see comdrops forbidden. To me it's like forbidding a Zerg to 6 pool in Starcraft.
Dropping is a cheesy, high-stakes but easily preventable strategy and always a talking point afterwards.
You may be familiar with the Droid vs Jazz final on ravaged of the previous tourney. Droid used an early com drop (at 4:30) to great effect - but it could have easily cost him the game. It added a lot to the spectating experience and would have be a shame to see such play forbidden.
If we want to encourage the spirit of true competitive play I believe that people should adapt appropriately to threats, rather than having pre-imposed limitations to save them the trouble. Consequently, 1v1 skill within the community would also increase.
