Expand And Exterminate Mod

Fang, Since u are no longer here, im interested into put some work on the mod u did, respecting the name mod and the credits of the creator.

Since my objective its reactive this mod and try to fix it at how it was played on earth2150.

Since the mod is very close to the models from that game, just the gamplay should be the same as its on that game too.

An answer would be really apreciated

Senna, your not the only person to have such desires, if it were possible, I smoth forb etc etc would have done it a long, long, long time ago.

Fang however forbids it. Fang develops Fangs game, and makes Fang releases, and he's explained the reasons why he wishes this many, many times. I suggest you go search for the numerous threads where he makes it clear.

So unless you're intending to invoke the considerable wrath of Fang and the community at large I suggest you heed Das Bruce' advice.

Senna would not keep it EE, it would be something else just using EE's models and name but not actually keep the gameplay of it. I am pretty sure fang would not be cool with that.

I think that would be the thing he'd be least cool with. Keeping gameplay and changing models/name is something he can't stop though.

ABC is a bit irrelevant now -

A is now nothing more than a modinfo.lua with correct syntax
B was to be documentation which is all on the wiki now
C was to have simple examples - use knorke's Spring Tutorial Game

im just wondering.. if someone would do bad things to Fangs work.. or WZs frozzen Season... would those guys even show up to lawsuit :D

Well I assume he doesn't like to make rip-offs from his mod because he did it pretty much alone and din't received much positive critic IIRC the only person who were permitted was Decimate but he is gone to.

I don't want to start flame wars but only saying that what I can still remember when he was still there

Well an answer from Fang would be cool, he did same models as earth2150, but gameplay as TA it is not the same..

And about changing models name for me thats a rippoff, i want give credits to original author.

I would like an answer from fang.. anyway:)

U are really too wrong with ur argumentation, i want to keep it same name, give and respect author credits, but for u "this guy all it want its stole other people works" that is not the thing i want to do...

Also the mod is not being played and that is really a wasted of time a nice mod like that not being even on used
