horrible crippling agony

Post by Zoombie »

As anyone who reads my story's knows, most if not all of my characters have gotten shot. Or stabbed. Or butcherer, or burned, or blinded or mutilated. The story is not complete if something horrible doesn't happen to at least ONE of the characters!

Then it happened to me...

I had just finished a side jump kick in Te Kwan Do and suddenly there was a odd 'pop' and i fell over. I felt my knee, and found that the kneecap had sickeningly moved slightly less then a half inch to the left.

It was indescribably painful, and it took four full grown men to carry me out of the building and into a car. Then i was driven to an emergency care center (that was painful, as every bump in the road made my knee start to tighten and when that happens pain shoots through my leg.

Then i was carefully (and painfully) moved onto a wheel chair. But since i couldn't bend my knee at all, my foot touched the ground. The wheelchair was too damn short!

So one of the guy's from Te Kwan Do, a cool fellow named Patric, held my foot up until we got into the emergency center. I faded in and out of wakefulness at this moment, because being in pain for a half hour (which felt more like three hours at the moment) is very tiering.

A hour later and i had gone through a X-ray, which was pain full as i had to try and straighten my leg (made easy by heavy duty painkillers!!).

Then a half hour after that the doctor walked up and pooped my kneecap back into place.

And suddenly i felt several BILLION times better! But i still have to be in crutches. And have a knee brace.

The moral of this story is...well...there's no real MORAL. I did a perfectly fine kick. Even landed right!

Well if anyone has a ├óÔé¼┼ôhorrible crippling agony├óÔé¼┬Ø story, please share it!

Ouch. That would have hurt. The worst ive ever done is dislocate an elbow and later on my shoulder, but I was to young to remember them, Only other significant injury is when I cut my hand on some broken glass and got 5 stitches. But that didnt hurt, so it hardly counts.

I've broken my right leg once and my right arm twice. It actually wasn't so bad either time that I broke my arm, though. I also sprained my ankle once, and to this day my right ankle has an considerably larger movement arc than my left ankle, for better or for worse...

I've had some bad sprains... and had to drive myself to the hospital when my apenix was fuxxored... But nothing quite as bad as having to have a bone popped back into place by a medical professional.

I can't say I've had any seriously painful injury. I had my toenails pulled out under anaesthetic and then been told to take aspirin if when it wore off - that was rather uncomfortable. But the worst I can remember is having migraine so bad I threw up from the pain of it, then again I might just be wimp.

"...and pooped my kneecap back into place."

I have never really gotten any serious injuries. But this one time when I was five, I ran into a door jam with my forehead, and I had to get about 5 stitches or so.

I also ran into barbed wire with my face when I was around 7 or 8. Cut my cheek pretty bad.

The worst pain I've prolly had was when after I ran around on the beach sand on all fours and I popped my wrist out of place somehow. It didn't stay out of place, but it was soar for about a month. If I put any pressure on it, it felt like my arm slid down past my wrist and caused extreme pain for about a minute.

I just remembered accidents, but not the pain, fortunately.

When I was 6 months old, I was started crawling up the stairs. My dad saw me and called my mum to see, at which point I started rolling down the stairs and smashed in to milk bottles at the bottom. I can't remember the extent of my injuries but I am pretty sure I need to go to hospital. Then when I was 2 years old I walked infront of a swing and got an inch long scar on my forehead, that is still visible today.

Then there was that time when I was 12 when I walked infront of a car, it knocked me and my shoes 20 feet in different directions! Back to the hospital for more stiches in my head and no aneasthetic for them - the most painful part.

I did the "run into barbed wire" thing once.

Having my finger shattered with a bike accident would be the worst thing I guess.
They managed to fix it up more or less and I still have the finger "at hand". :-)

Well, some late August day 6 years ago, I decided to take my dog out for a walk at the hills behind the hospital, when suddenly I stepped on a nest of highly aggressive nuclear mutated wasps.
I was actually very, very lucky because a couple was walking there as well, so one of them took my dog home and the other took me to the hospital (again, very lucky that it was just a few hundred meters away).
I eventually ended up with 17 stings.

Hmmm, my second ever migraine... I was at school and started to feel dizzy, couldn't see properly etc. Then I threw up in the corridor on the way to the medical room and collapsed a few meters away from where I had thrown up. Found 10 minutes later by a caretaker. :P

I've also broken most of my toes, so that they now randomly pop out, which is pretty painful.

At age 10? or so I was a scout on camp and we had some night game in a forest.

I still know that I felt a real strange sort of pease come over me while I was hanging in this rusty barbed wire.
I could hear the other kids in the distance but other than that it was silent.
It was a cold dark night and I was alone in some forest many miles from home.
I had some nasty cuts but felt little pain.

Did not last that long, I was found a few minutes later by a patrolling scout leader.

I am a masochist. I have cuts from myself... nothing painful here. Hell, sparing with boken and breaking bones was kind of fun. However, we are only talking fractures. Adrenaline took care of those but it did suck to have softball sized swelling.

Although I can honestly say I have not experienced any pain past that.

Although I have gotten stabbed in the shoulder with a razor... OH I REMEMBER ONE!

I was like 7-8 yrs old riding my bike and my friends had fucked up my handles to the point I pulled the grips off of them. I hit a hole in the concrete and the handlebar sliced my abdomen open and I was bleeding all over the place. I had to walk home with a hole in my abs. I think the walk was only 4-5 houses down the road but to a 7-8 year old that was miles.
