I try to play a wavfile ingame, and as long as its a 44100 Hz file it simply states it cannot find the file.
The very same file at a lower quality is found.
Please tell me there is a workaround for this...

sounds i use are 22khz mono 16bit
and be sure to remove the silences in front of the file

i have some files that are appearently* 16 bit 44hz and they play normal.
*=noticed by rightclick->file info, did not really watch out for that when editing them.

There are different wav-fileformats, not all are supported.

Didn't have trouble using mono or stereo 16 bit 44 khz waves before... make sure they are in LPCM and not compressed (ACM).
I find with 3D positional sound I can't really tell a difference between 22 or 44 khz.
