Looks like it is working now, after a clean.
EDIT: Actually it is still not working.

`make spring` works fine
Also, it's fixed (the compilation, not the problem) in git's master.
And again it's my fault not Behe's.
And thx for testing.
PS: Behe did very well and I will do my best to merge it in the engine until 84 (which should get very fast done after 83).

It works!
Here is what I found so far:
Can you guess the map? Looking at the minimap it not allowed. This is not a ROAM problem though, it was because I was pointing to the wrong Data folder.
The problems I found so far are with Terra-forming: Thanks Behe for the grate work.

Re: ROAM terrain rendering, help us make spring much faster!
excellent work beherith and everyone else involved
Re: ROAM terrain rendering, help us make spring much faster!
PS: I just took DSD cause it is the first map that came up in my mind with huge plain areas. Even had to download it for these images ...
Btw all other maps profit by ROAM in the same way cause the huge win by this renderer is that it doesn't upload multiple MB of vertex data each frame. But the results look less cool on static images

Re: ROAM terrain rendering, help us make spring much faster!
fantastic work!
Jk, any possibility I can get a draw distance increase with this so I can really push it with something BIG?

Re: ROAM terrain rendering, help us make spring much faster!
is there an win32 exe of this version available for testing, or must manually download and compile from repository ?
