yuritch i'm always very impressed with your models. clearly lots of love and care goes in; good use of polies and always very polished and complete IMO. (i wish i were able to steal some of this attitude for my own work )
smoth i personally like the look of the outside ring but i guess its a bit different when it's animated so i'll trust your judgement. nice stuff tho as always

not the outside ring but the secondary ring that is caused by the standard ground flash. The outside ring is great.

I added arrows to show what I mean. see where theres a hard edge? the texture is getting cut off where it meets the terrain. i've seen this in pretty much every asplosion in spring...its quite distracting
