what forb is talking about:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_dns

lots of modern (internet-access-)routers even have support for this built-in. if yours, or your friends does not, you can still run the client on your own machine.

My earliest spring memory was doing 2v2s on Core Prime Industrial Area on AA...I would spam like 30 bertha ships every game. We won 6 or 7 matches in a row and then Isaac came in and obliterated us with a proper instigator rush.

After CPIA it was all SSB games for a while, until I was tired of the uneven resource distribution of it and made Tangerine. The rest is history!

Almost... I hosted it when I still had time to play (and when my NAT thing let me host...)

I want to know what happened to Will Riker. And weres Zoombie at (I loved his stories...).

Also, when we had the old map format and could have 40 x 40 + sized maps still... :(

LOL WUT?? BEHE LOVES MY SPEEDBALL MAPS? NO WAI.

i loved that map too, too bad it lags like hell with newest spring versions... maybe someone could fix it with lua? its about bullets getting out of map i think... also the amount of shields increase the calculations, does spring use quadtrees (or anything) to optimize this at all?

I last saw Zoombie hanging out on Online-Roleplaying.com... but it looks like he hasn't been there since late last year either... shrug...

also... it turns out I'm perm-banned on smoth's forum which I had completely forgotten about.

I don't even remember why I was harassing him in the first place... oh well... 2009 me was a bit of a jerk

I remember when we used to play BA only on lan with beh, porking like crazy untill we had BBgun :)

I remember when we founded teh, just so we would play together in teamgames. Then when beh first invited someone (Numpty) to join teh.

The first time we beat Lordmatt and someone else from LCC in a 2v2.

When all the Baaaaaaaaawing was about speedmetal being overplayed.

Then suddenly all the pros where playing speedmetal with awesome builds.

I recall the time i enjoyed CA, right around the time they put in height-varied wind power.

I really enjoyed playing with Tired, dunno what happened to him, last I saw he was much more cranky.

newb ;) more shields = more bouncy power. the less the bullets will come in your base the more shields you put next to each. also you were able to shoot enemy bullets back to some other direction by toggling off/on your shields ;)

I can't remember there being regular XTA games for years, let alone ffa ones.

I love blackstar not because there's anything extraordinary about it but because it's the only alternative to the evil that is azure rampart.

Vulcan/Buzzsaw != Firearm || Sling || Air Gun.

zoom closer to vulcan and you'll see it throws bullet shells out of it.

and buzzaw on the other hand works very like a sling. (why else it would rotate vertically like that? :d)
