Hmm. I can think of more boring places to live than Iowa, with some effort. Most of them are deep in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia, in the Russian taiga forests, or in rural Alabama, though there is one called "Jacksonville, Florida" that comes to mind.

Good luck with whatever business is important enough to take you to what was thought an inhospitable desert until the 1880s!
